Parking in areas (lay by etc) where other Moho's are already parked: Ensure that there is adequate 'fire safety' space between the vans and don't encroach on their privacy. Keep dog on lead.

* Stonehenge: There is a lane along the A303 you can park for free and look at the stones. There is a local by law (according to security guards) that anyone can stop there for 2 nights. You can only turn into the lane from the eastbound carriageway of the A303. Great spot. Video
* Falmouth: If you follow the road round the headland and go past the parking area on the point, follow road round and there are then about 10 parking spaces overlooking sea.
* Worcester: Malvern M5 , Jnc 13 , Fromebridge Mill, beautiful setting. Huge free car park backing on to river frome, real ales , £6 mid week carvery.
* Weymouth: The Swannery Car Park at Weymouth should be ok. It has a public toilet on site and not far to walk to the centre and sea front. Used it a few times in the past with no issues and should be free overnight for camping unless council have changed rules for out of season. West Fleet Farm also.
* Newcastle: The Coach and HGV parking facility at Ord Street, NE4 7AD (not free).
* Near Glastonbury: Castlebrook Inn (£10 per night inc electric hookup)
* Bourton on the water: Coach and Horses GL54 2HN
* Wales. Brecon: New Inn Ystradfellte. Great pub and great food, dirt cheap camp site there £4 a night plus free walks to the stunning Ystradfellte falls
* Wales. Brecon: The promenade carpark is quiet and really safe. £3.20 for 24 hours.
* Cornwall: Main car park in Perranporth £2 for 24 hours with a shower and toilets (£6 in high season).

* Abergaveney: Whistle Inn and camp site Blaenavon. Coach and Horses at LLangynidr. Bailey Car Park in Abergaveney.
* Up north: Wheatsheaf at Junction 11 M6 has hook up ...I'm told very reasonable, they are just off the motorway.
* Chester: Roodee car park allows overnight camping next to river and 5 min walk to town.

* Shrewsbury Shropshire: 'The Old Hand and Diamond' offers free parking. Lovely food.
* Newquay: Fistral Beach
* Devon: Easewell Farm, Mortehoe near Rockham Bay. Marvers campsite at Mawgan Porth, near Padstow. Northam Burrows near Appledore. All these are close to dog friendly beaches.
* Wales: Carmarthan: Llanstellan Beach. LLanybri (site). Kidwelly car park (overnight). Quarry Lodge Camping site.
* Anglesey and Hollyhead: We stayed wild camping by Anglesey Sea Zoo the other week, also Holyhead.
* Hayling Island: Park to the left of 'The Inn on the Beach'.
* Brean. Unity Farm £5 per night in March and September.

* Hay-on-Wye: Baskerville Hall Hotel. £6 per night.

* Brean: Just to recommend HRU in Brean Sands near Weston Super Mare. We use the site regularly with our van. Free use of showers, laundry rooms etc. Also includes passes for clubhouse and discounts for swimming pool. With only a 5 minute walk to the sea front. Staff very friendly and helpful too, with heaps of on site amenities. Also doggy friendly.
